More than five years’ experience in teaching management and accounting in reputed educational institutions in India. Then Eight years’ experience in Financial Management and Administration in a large scale Petroleum Refinery India. One year at the Temple University in Tokyo and two years as an Investment Consultant at the Indian Embassy in Tokyo. Started English communication at the Seikei Primary School and continued to contribute to that program. Started the Little Angels English Academy / Little Angels International School (presently, Musashino International School)

Special Achievement

Represented India in a symposium on “Productivity through better labor management relations” held at Bangkok by the Asian Productivity Organization in collaboration with the International Labor Organization.

Professional education in Commerce, Cost Accounting and Business Management with top academic honors. Deep involvement in the Financial Analysis and Management. Advisor on Manpower Planning and Training. Presented various research papers in seminars and have worked as a key resource person in the activities of institutions of higher learning in management.

Excellent organizer of events, such as “The International Children’s Festival” in a Japanese public school where nearly 80 children from five different countries representing the five continents showcased their culture to the Japanese children and parents. (First of its kind in Japan).

My Journey

As an Indian woman living in Japan, I had the privilege of founding and leading one of the first independently established international schools in the country without Japanese institutional backing. What began as a vision grew into a fully accredited Cambridge International School that successfully guided students through to high school graduation.

My educational philosophy was shaped by experiences across cultures. Having studied in India, raised children in Japan, traveled extensively, and observed educational systems around the world, I came to believe that no single curriculum fully prepares children for an increasingly interconnected future. Every country has strengths in its educational approach, and every system has limitations.

With that belief, I developed a unique curriculum for younger learners that combined the best elements I had encountered internationally while respecting local culture and learning styles. This approach enabled students - many of whom had limited early exposure to English - to transition smoothly into the Cambridge curriculum with confidence, strong language skills, and solid academic foundations.

Over the years, the school received national and international recognition. I was honored to be interviewed by major media organizations, including CNN, and featured in numerous newspapers and television programs for our innovative approach to education. Eventually, health challenges led me to step away from the institution I had built. While the school continues under new ownership, my journey took me in an unexpected direction.

During my recovery, I discovered a deeper passion for art, creativity, and craftsmanship. Through artistic expression, I gained fresh insights into learning, communication, human potential, and the way people process ideas and emotions. Presently, through my YouTube channel, “Rani’s Vices, (https://youtube.com/@ranisvices ) I explore a wide range of topics through creativity, storytelling, and personal reflection.

Now,I’m back to my original passion : needs to be my handcrafted arts and upcycling inspiring, educating, and empowering others. I bring decades of experience in education, leadership, curriculum development, cross-cultural understanding, and creative thinking.
